Holy Cross Benedictines of Adoration (OSBA)

Order Name: Holy Cross Benedictines of Adoration (OSBA)

Welcome to the website of the Holy Cross Benedictines of Adoration (founded 2013), an autocephalous and idiorrhythmic monastic congregation in the Liberal/Old Catholic and Anglo-Catholic traditions. Most of our members are also clergy in the Holy Celtic Church International, but we have others who are members of churches or individuals in communion with us. We may be considered part of the “new monastic” movement, in that our members live in their own homes, often have secular professions, and may be married, partnered or single. Our professed members take the traditional Benedictine vows of Stability, Obedience and Conversion of Manners, interpreted according to our particular state in life.
