A Franciscan Order in the Marian Orthodox Church.
Franciscan Tertiary Order using the Rule of 1221
A Canonical Religious Order of Men and Women of the Metropolitan Diocese of Hope, Trinitarian Catholic Church (USA). Province of Our Lady of Divine Providence, Provincial Residence, Rocky Hill, Connecticut USA. We are a non-residential Order that accepts adult women and men who have completed an admission process. Our members are self-supporting and self-sufficient. Our Rule and Constitution, as well as the Handbook of the TCC and other documents are available on our website. Please thoroughly review the information on our website and write to us if you’re interested in becoming a member.
We are men and women, lay and clergy, single and married/partnered who are committed to living the Gospel of Jesus Christ following the examples of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi. We are scattered across the United States, involved in a variety of ministries, yet united as a single community with a common Rule and a common commitment to reconciliation, peace and justice, and the integrity of creation. We are a canonical religious order of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion (ECC), committed to the support and development of that part of the Body of Christ in all that we do. If you are here as a member or leader of an ECC parish, please let us know how we can serve your community in its spiritual growth. If you are here considering your own possible vocation to the Franciscan life, please explore this site and contact us so that we can join with you in the discernment process.
We the Franciscans of the Holy Spirit are a group of non-residential communities of vowed Sisters and Brothers in the tradition of the Third Order Regular who have come together to live out our call to follow the values set down by Ss. Francis and Clare of Assisi who, through God’s inspiration, made Christ the center and inspiration of their lives.
We are not affiliated with any specific denomination or jurisdiction but rather are secular Franciscans living the Gospel in the Spirit of St. Francis. Members may be ordained or non-ordained, married, partnered or single but united in a common vision to live the Franciscan charism while being engaged in the communities we live. Contact Rev. Fr. Stephen Gallagher email@example.com
We are an Independent Catholic community following the Benedictine Rule.
